About AfBC

Empowering and unlocking the potential of African businesses

The African Business Chamber (AfBC) is a global organisation dedicated to representing and supporting African businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs as they grow and thrive in the global economy. We also assist business and investors in identifying viable trade and investment opportunities across Africa.

AfBC provides a range of business growth services, hosts dynamic networking events, and leads initiatives designed to empower its members and the global business community. Our support helps businesses grow, boost productivity, access investment and market opportunities, and promote their products and services.

Our mission is to represent the views, interests, and goals of the African business community while highlighting Africa’s vast potential and opportunities on the global stage.

Our Objectives

We support African businesses, investors, professionals, and entrepreneurs to grow and thrive in the global economy. Our aim is to help them develop their ideas, foster innovation, and bring new products and solutions to market.

We spotlight African excellence, highlight the economic contributions of African businesses and professionals, and amplify their profiles and voices on the global stage.

We assist investors and businesses in identifying bankable and profitable investment opportunities across Africa. We also champion trade, investment, and partnerships between African nations and the global economy.

We empower and support entrepreneurs and businesses to start, grow, and scale resilient, sustainable ventures. Our goal is to expand access and connect entrepreneurs with resources, financing, grants, and capital to fuel their growth.

We contribute to the economic stability of African communities and the diaspora within the global economy. By creating platforms and initiatives, we facilitate networking, knowledge sharing, and relationship building to foster growth and collaboration.

We support African diaspora businesses and professionals to thrive, invest in Africa, and contribute to the continent's overall economic development and prosperity.

Our Values

As an organization, we are committed to delivering services of the highest quality and integrity to every member, every day. Our ambition is for AfBC to drive continued growth while maintaining its position as the most trusted and reliable membership organization. We strive to be the membership of choice, a trusted advisor, an effective supporter, and a responsible leader in the industry.

In today’s fast-changing, interconnected world, consistency is more important than ever. AfBC is built on strong values that guide our decisions and ensure we always do the right thing. These values are just as crucial today — if not more so. That’s why we remain committed to keeping our values at the core of everything we do, making them simple, memorable, and relevant to the present day.
